From Our Farm To Your Table
Committed to a Sustainable Regional Grain Economy
Our grains are grown locally and organically in the Chesapeake Bay region on family farms including our very own. From these smaller lots, varietal grains are stoneground at low temperatures and packed by hand on our farm to preserve the nutrition, tastes, and artisanal culture that nature intended.
Invested in Direct Relationships with our Customers
We take pride in getting to know those who eat our grains and the stories behind how and why they are eating them. By focusing our efforts on direct markets, we have the opportunity to interact with our customers on a regular basis and thus have a chance to get a little better acquainted with them and their tables.
Building a Community of Flour (and More)
Migrash Farm is looking to build a network of like-minded folks to get behind community purchasing power. We envision a model similar to a vegetable CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) where, on a regular basis, a group of folks can get together their resources and reduce their individual costs through bulk purchasing and delivery. We initially look to start with fresh local bread flours, but hope to grow into other cereals and legumes as well. Find out more here.
